SUNDAY SCHOOL

We have a Children's Sunday School Department that is second to none.  It has dedicated teachers who are loving & caring.  Our Stewardship program trains our children to become responsible members of the church.  The children are given a set of envelopes every 3 months to record their prayers, presence, gifts, and service to the church. 

The children are on a schedule that coincides with the school year.  Promotion (August) is usually the Sunday before school begins.  At this time children are promoted to the next age level.  Also, awards are given to kids in each class that brought the most oatmeal for the UBM, that brought their Bible to class the most, and that brought the most friends to church.  We also honor those that have not had more than 5 Sundays of unexcused absences (excused absences include sickness or attending another church.)  Parents need to inform teachers of excused absences during the year.

Listed below are the children's classess:

• Nursery:  (Infants-1 year)

• Toddlers:  (2 years-3 years)

• Kindergarten I & II:  (4 years-5 years)

• 1^st and 2^nd Grade

• 3^rd and 4^th Grade

Throughout the year our Children's Department has many other activities.  These include Holiday Parties, Children's Choir, a Christmas Play, and vacation Bible School, which is a summer activity providing Bible study and crafts for the whole family..
